The Nike Dunk Low Edition “Mummy” is a nice silhouette that somehow fits nicely as the follow-up to 2019’s Nike SB Dunk Low “Night of Mischief.” It draws inspiration from things like Victor Frankenstein’s “monster” and the bewitching of Egyptian mythology.
It may be time to declare the most anticipated sneakers from Nike’s yearly line of Halloween footwear, which keeps getting bigger.
The SB Dunk Low “Mummy dunks” sneaker upper is made of a bandage-like canvas and has minimal faux smudging and pre-distressing. But the intricate craftsmanship doesn’t end there; a cut-out mustache that sits more resounding than the rest of the heel has creepy crimson eyes.
The interior of the Dunk additionally has an Eye of Horus engraved on the tongue’s underside, and a picture print of bandages unspooled over grass and encircled by gummy worms on the insole. The sole and mustache illuminate in the dark to round out the Halloween excitement.
Nike announced the launch of SB mummy dunks on October 28, 2021, at a retail price of $110.
